We have two locations you can paddle to with your rentals!
Indian Key Historical State Park
Pack your snorkel gear, grab a cooler, and paddle over to Indian Key! The 20-minute trip is easy and enjoyable for both first-time and experienced paddlers. Once you arrive, beach your kayak and explore the remains of the old wrecking colony that was destroyed by a surprise Indian attack. You can take a self-guided walking tour around the island or cool off with a little snorkeling. We recommend heading out first thing in the morning to make the most of your time exploring Indian Key and enjoying the water.
Mangrove Canopy System (featuring our famous manatee hole)
Just five minutes around the corner from our shop is a beautiful mangrove system waiting to be explored. Paddle through winding mangrove tunnels and shallow flats while taking in the quiet beauty of the backcountry. Keep your eyes open—you may spot manatees, fish, bald eagles, egrets, nurse sharks, stingrays, and plenty of other Keys wildlife along the way.
